Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Riley Brockington and I am running to serve you as your City Councillor for River Ward (16) for the 2022-2026 term of office.

Here is a little bit about me:

  • Father to two amazing daughters and Lifelong resident of River Ward
  • Current City Councillor, River Ward (16)
  • Graduate of local schools in River Ward, including Brookfield HS
  • Graduate, uOttawa, Degree in Economics
  • Senior Analyst/Economist, Federal Government, 16 year career, currently on leave
  • Former National Vice-President, Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE)
  • Public School Trustee, River Ward, 2003-2010
  • Former Vice-President, Ontario Public School Board Assn
  • Honourably Discharged, Canadian Army Reserves 
  • Former President and Director, Riverside Park Community Assn
  • Former President and Director, Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre Board
  • Former Director, Ottawa School Days Nursery Inc
  • Former Director, Ottawa Carleton Education Network
